About The Artist
e' bender-webb studied art at Southern Oregon State College (now SOU) and Rogue Community College. His most profound education, however, has come from his rich and varied life experiences, which deeply inspire his work. Five of his mixed media pieces are on permanent loan to the National Vietnam Veterans' Art Museum in Chicago. He frequently exhibits at the First Friday Art Walk in downtown Grants Pass, Oregon and is a regular contributor to the annual Black White and Blues art auction. Residents and visitors will soon enjoy his bronze and iron work, commissioned by the city of Grants Pass.
e' finds joy in the creative process, whether writing a poem, making pottery or sculpting with metal. Each of his pieces is hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind. Much of his art speaks to transformation and acceptance. He delights in 'found' objects, incorporating or reworking them. In the process he becomes an instrument of their resurrection, their metamorphosis into something interesting and even beautiful.
